Anacua, Sandpaper Tree - Ehretia anacua 5 gallon

Evergreen tree to 20-45 feet. Leaves are dark green and feel like sandpaper. White fragrant flowers bloom sporadically from March to November. Grows in sand. loam, clay, and caliche if well drained. Dappled shade to full sun. Yellowish-orange, globular, juicy sweet 1/4-1/3 inch edible fruit. Native to Texas and Mexico.
