Smooth Cordgrass - Spartina alternifolia / Plug

Large perennial grass to 8 1/4 feet. The most important species in seaside habitats. It has soft stems and the leaf blades are flat. Panicles are erect to arching. Spikes are 3-25, loosely appressed, separated or more frequently moderately overlapping. Salt and brackish marshes. Native from New Foundland to Texas. Sold in plug trays with variable minimum quantities.
