An almost evergreen wetland plant with a usual height of 1-3 feet. White blooms from June to April. Shade to full sun. It can be found in swamps and along bodies of water. Excellent water garden plant. It is actually a large bulb. Also available in bare root for $1.25 each. Native from Georgia and Florida to Texas.
