Louisiana Palm - Sabal louisiana 5 gallon

A medium sized arborescent palm with a trunk to 6 feet. Leaves are palmate, bluish green, and the margins of the younger segments often have threadlike fibers. This palm has long been been a source of mystery. No one is quite sure whether it is a variety of Palmetto - Sabal minor, or a different species. Whatever the case may be, it certainly has larger leaves and regularly grows a trunk. Native to Louisiana and Texas.
