Longleaf Pine - Pinus palustris 5 gallon

Large evergreen conifer with a height of 80-125 feet. Medium to dark green needles 8-18 inches long. When tree is mature the bark is fire resistant. Likes sandy, acid soils, but can handle some clay as well. Seedlings and saplings look like clumps of grass. Full sun. Native from North Carolina to Florida and Texas.
