Powdery Thalia - Thalia dealbata 5 gallon

Large wetland plant to 6-8 feet tall. Purple 4-6 inch spikes of flowers in summer and fall. Dormant in winter and part shade to full sun. It grows in mud, 0-12 inches underwater, and even saline is ok. It has a powdery, pale, filmy substance on the leaves, stems, and flowers. Leaves are similar to Cannas. Native to the southeastern United States.
