Smooth Sumac - Rhus glabra 5 gallon

Deciduous suckering shrub to 3-20 feet. The leaves are alternate and pinnately compound, with 11-31 leaflets, and turn red in fall. White clusters of flowers June-August. The red fruit ripens in early fall and is eaten by wildlife. Good plant for erosion control along streams. Well drained soils and part shade to full sun. Native to the eastern 2/3 of North America.
